Thanks to Michael Silverman at AMD for this update on the EU antitrust case against Intel. Intel had put in an application for interim relief in the case, or what looks like a motion to delay precedings. The EU has rejected that application. AMD's Executive VP of Legal, Corporate, and Public affairs had this to say about the dismissal.

"We are not surprised by the Court's decision to reject Intel's application. The Order is entirely consistent with the continuous and clear case law on this issue and Intel's appeal was simply an attempt to delay the Commission's decision making process."
