The Inquirer has talked to Jon Carvill - formerly of AMD - of GlobalFoundries and Jon relates that GlobalFoundries has been in contact with quite a few fabless semiconductor companies about ramping up production at AMD's old fabs in Germany. NVIDIA is included in this list and it is possible that they are interesting in manufacturing products with GlobalFoundries. GF is still in its infancy and GF will no doubt give priority to Advanced Micro Devices, but surely, there will be room for others to hop on the bandwagon. It might be a while, but it sure seems like it's on it's way.
