Advanced Micro Devices is planning on revamping their channel partner programs sometime in the next month. According to ChannelWeb, AMD plans on integrating their graphics and processing sides into one department. AMD will focus on Platforms, Programs and Profits. This appears as if it could be part of AMD's Fusion initiative.While AMD will continue to support Intel CPUs and Nvidia graphics, Bixler said the new program will offer more benefits than previously to partners who sell AMD-only platforms.
