As Chris reported a few days ago, an unnamed AMD executive was implicated in the Galleon Group's insider trading case. According to the Wall Street Journal, that insider is Hector Ruiz, AMD's former CEO. Ruiz -- who is not a defendant in the case, the Journal added -- would be the highest-profile executive to become embroiled in the Galleon allegations so far.
Ruiz is now chairman of Globalfoundries, a semiconductor manufacturer that was spun out of AMD earlier this year.
