According to Digitimes AMD has seen a boost in CPU sales after they recently introduced the RS780 integrated video chipset in China. So it appears it has paid off. We should have tests of this chipset soon. AMD's entry-level CPU market share in China was between 40% to 50% before the launch of RS780 motherboards. But since the launch, sales have jumped to 60%-70%, noted the sources. |
