AMD's Graphic and Chipset Division, ATI, was once called something else. ATI is short for Array Technologies Incorporated. This was shortened to ATI Technologies Incorporated, at a later date. If you want to get technical, ATI's name was then Array Technologies Incorporated Technologies Incorporated.
