This is just a heads up that AMD's shareholders have voted "For" for the AMD/ATIC Fab buyout. The deal is set to close at the beginning of March. While this wasn't unexpected, it is still good news to know that AMD won't be facing anymore hurdles in reaching their goal of joint ownership of their fabs. That is, if Intel really doesn't have any ground on the licensing issues. We'll keep you posted.
