It's official - we have a name, we have a logo. Global Foundries is the name of AMD's & ATIC's manufacturing arm. They even have a website. The new company has renamed the Fabs in Germany.. no more Fab 30/36/38; we now have Fab 1. The Inquirer says that Fab 2 will be located in New York. This is serious guys. AMD's stock is up on the announcement - up roughly 13% at the time of posting. It is hovering around $2.30/share.
