Fudo says AMD will be putting out a 785G chipset with integrated DirectX 10.1 graphics in Q3. The 785G will come with UVD2 video engine, HDMI capability and PCIe 2.0 support. The new chip stays within the 15W TDP and it interconnects with SB710 Southbridge. It should be slower than AMD's 790GX chipset but then again it will also cost less money. |
