If you want AMD chipset news, then this is your post. There is new info on AMD's integrated chipsets including their DirectX 10.1 chipset, the 785G. Fudzilla-AMD 785 chipset has Radeon HD 4200 graphics AMD 780G has a DirectX 10 based IGP core and its GPU is branded as Radeon HD 3200, while AMD 785G will get a Radeon HD 4200 brand which definitely confirms DirectX 10.1 capable graphics from the HD 4000 generation. Fudzilla-RS880D has 700MHz IGP AMD plans two new IGP chipsets, the AMD 785G that we mentioned earlier, and a faster version that still doesn’t have a real name, and is codenamed RD880D. This new chipset also gets DirectX 10.1 based graphics that works at 700MHz, it supports 2x8X Crossfire as well as UVD 2.0. Fudzilla-AMD plans Dorado IGP platform AMD currently plans the Pisces platform that should hold water through 2009, and this is a platform synergy for IGP chipsets with a bunch of CPUs. It consists of AMD 785G, or 760G+SB710 IGP chipsets and supports Sargas, single-core 45nm CPUs, Callisto dual-core harvested Phenom II quad to two cores and the Regor dual-core.
