Madshrimps has reviewed the Scythe Infinity CPU cooler. They test it out on an Athlon 64.

Scythe has been at the top of their game the last several years, releasing excellent high end CPU heatsink which offer amazing performance/noise ratios. Today we test their latest product which is set to overshadow all their previous offerings, 5 heat pipes and 120mm fan support make can make this Tower designed HSF the next best thing. Let´s see if that is true.

TTIC NPH AM2 Review PDF Print E-mail

Madshrimps has a review of the TTIC NPH AM2 cooler.

TTIC has made a very affordable CPU cooler which doesn?t fail to impress, the larger fan reduces overall noise and the easy installation makes it more accessible to the less tech savvy. It?s not meant for the extreme overclocker or the silent freak, but at its low price point you can hardly demand that. The NPH AM2 is capable of keeping your latest AM2/S939 CPU running cool and (very) quiet (if you reduce the fan speed).

MadboxPC has reviewed the Zalman CNPS9500. You can pick this heatsink up here starting at $49.

You are looking for to cosmell for your processor AM2 and you do not find? They are not many coolers of quality compatible with AM2, that is to say, since many good coolers for socket 939 had an installation system that did not use the support of the plates mothers. Zalman has remedied this with its Zalman 9500 AM2, that more than to cosmell for AM2, are a product that is totally with all socket of the K8 series (754-939-940-AM2), since it uses the support of the plate mother to affirm.

Proclockers has tested the Titan Amanda TEC Cooler. They test it out on an Athlon 64.

All I can say is the performance of the Amanda is outstanding. It beat our site champs, the Scythe Infinity and the Thermalright Ultra-120 by a small margin. Not as impressive at idle setting the Amanda was right in the midst of the other coolers. The question remains, how often do our systems stay at idle? When the heat was on the Amanda decided to shine, beating the others by a few degrees.

Madshrimps has posted a review of the Asus Silent Square. This is a new cooler from them, and they test on an Athlon 64. You can pick this guy up here starting at just over $40.

The Silent Square has no less than 5 copper heat pipes which are joined in a copper base, the heat is dissipated to a collection of thin aluminum fins which sit at each side of the fan. The S² only uses a 92mm fan, this helps to reduce the overall size of the tower heatsink and prevents possible incompatibility issues.
