The test concludes that the AMA-P outperforms the little brother the AMA-H and cleans house of the stock OEM cooler. This is just what we know would happen. With the performances levels that we have seen here today I would have to say that this cooler would right at home in a small server or in an individual?s system that wanted to do just a little bit of overclocking. The cooler is just short enough to fit into a SFF tower as well. Sometimes included coolers with these systems don?t perform as well so the AMA-P should be able to help in that area.

The Cooljag AMA-H has proven to beat out the stock cooler from AMD and did it by a OK margin. Everyone knows that every single degree of temp costs when trying to cool your processor. And that by itself makes the cooler a worth while investment if you want a better cooler situation with out spending loads of cash on some of the other coolers on the market. Something else that aids the AMA-H over the stock cooler is it will allow for some moderate overclocking, nothing major but any boost in performance is a welcomed boost.

"This is the ultimate in recycling in a lot of ways - taking what would have been waste material and taking a real benefit from it. So, this is the sort of approach AMD has exemplified throughout the building process," Steve Windhager of the Wildflower Center said.

All in all the Arctic Alpine 64 has achieved what Arctic has aimed for. The heatsink has good cooling performance while maintaining a low level of sound generated.

I had just recently upgraded from a Socket 462 system to a Socket 939 system. As usual, I intended to overclock the new Socket 939 system. So, I need a good replacement for the stock CPU cooler.

At first, I considered buying a new Socket 939 heatsink. Then I remembered I had a few Socket 462 heatsinks lying around, unused. Naturally, it occured to me that I could reuse one of those heatsinks on my new Socket 939 mainboard with just some slight modifications.

For those who are curious, here are my system's specifications. Nothing to scream about but it's all mine.
