Quad to be branded "Athlon"; Phenom II vs C2Q

Fudzilla is saying that AMD's upcoming quad-core without L3 cache will be branded as an Athlon. This will help differentiate this core (Propus) from Deneb, which will have L3 cache. Additionally, Faud says that Phenom II will match or even beat Intel's Core 2 Quad - remember though, this will be going up against Core i7 and not Core 2.
