ZDNet has news on Red Hat supporting dual core. Dual-core processors combine two processing engines onto a single slice of silicon, a prevailing method of squeezing more performance out of a processor. Red Hat told customers Friday that the beta version of the first update to RHEL 4 includes support for both Advanced Micro Devices' and Intel's dual-core processors. Parasoft Releases Insure++ 7.0 for Novell SUSE LINUX Enterprise Server 9; First Memory Error Detection Solution to Support SUSE LINUX Now Available
LinuxWorld Boston 2005
BOSTON--Feb. 16, 2005--Parasoft Corporation, a leading provider of solutions that automatically prevent software errors, announced the release of Insure++ 7.0 for the Novell SUSE(R) LINUX Enterprise Server 9 platform. As a Novell Silver Technology Partner, Parasoft developed this memory error detection solution to complement Novell's Linux offerings for new and existing ISVs, IHVs and solutions provider partners.
The Premier Runtime Memory-testing Tool
Leveraging 17 years of software testing experience and several technology patents, Insure++ 7.0 is the first memory error detection tool to support SUSE LINUX Enterprise Server 9. Insure++ is an automated runtime application-testing tool designed to detect the elusive, often hidden errors or corruptions that affect the reliability and performance of applications. Its enhanced instrumentation engine makes discovery of hard-to-find memory-related errors faster than ever. Insure++ 7.0 is the only memory detection tool supporting 64 bit development platforms from Intel and AMD. |
