Asus has upgraded their 790FX board with a 750SB Southbridge, and they call it the Asus M3A79-T Deluxe. You can see Legit Reviews test it here. Mwave has it here for $192.50.It is nice to finally see the SB750 on the same board as the 790FX chipset. The addition of the SB750 brings a performance boost to the aging 790FX, and boosts the performance of the Asus M3A79-T Deluxe to help it outscore its younger sibling, the Asus M3A78-T. It may not have been a huge jump in performance, but it was enough to make a difference in our testing, and certainly proves that the SB750 fits well with the 790FX. Performance wise, this board did just fantastically.
The layout and setup of the board was also excellent. There were absolutely no issues at all. There is plenty of room for any aftermarket cooler that you may pick, and flashing the BIOS is a piece of cake with the EZ Flash Utility.
