The performance of this board was average. It kept up with the others, but did not really excel in any one area. Overclocking on the board was... well, we do not know since our board died while being overclocked with only the CPU voltage increased to 1.45V. We hope to look at another board to give us a better idea in the near future after we get a replacement from MSI. From reading around the web, we are not the first to see a board blow due to some cheaply made voltage regulators. The MSI 790FX-GD70 is not the motherboard to use if you plan on doing even mild overclocking.
