As luck would have it, Mosso/Rackspace in San Antonio has had a horrible week with our database. It was down last night from 11PM to after 4AM, and it was just down again. Supposedly they are going to move the database group we are in to new hardware. It must be overheating Xeons or something thanks to the nice heatwave we are having the past week. I don't know. Hopefully it does not happen again, and we will be back to standard uptime. |

Chase Bank is a joke. They are scammers. They are liars. They are incompetent. I recommend you never create a Chase Bank account, get a loan with them, or use one of their credit cards. It is a long story, but I have never seen such bad customer service and such horrible policies in my life. It is disgusting. I hope they go under.
Also of note Bank of America while not as bad is close. They allowed some jackass in Houston, where I have never banked before, to change the address and have a check card mailed to him on my business account. I was never notified. When I found out, I was told they would call me back about what happened. Well it turns out some prick named Grant Wilson, in Houston was using my tax EID as a social security number. That is right Grant. You are outed. Expect a visit from me so we can talk over why you enjoy using my EID, and how you like to try and have my address changed.
In short national banks are incompetent. Don't use one. Use a local bank that will have some ability to do something without calling into a faceless call center. |

Mosso, a divison of Rackspace, is our new host, and they are having some problems this morning. They told me the Sprint backbone was an issue at first, but now apparently that is resolved and something is wrong on their ends. Hopefully it will clear up and we will be back to normal performance. |

We are in the process of a site move from the Tek Republik office to Rackspace down the road in San Antonio. DNS may not be fully propagated yet. AMDZone.net was done first, then AMDZone.com. If you are experiencing any problems logging into the forum please e-mail me at chris dot tom at amdzone.com. Thanks for your patience and look for some reviews here soon that are pretty interesting. |
