AMDZone, with the help of AMD/ATI Technologies, will announce numerous contests in the near future. At this point, we are still planning; however, we do have several ATI based video cards ready to be sent out as prizes. At a later date, processors will be available as well. The contests will be opened to all Folding at Home users who are folding for Team 36837. To be eligible, you must also be a member of our forum. Signing up for our forum is free and fast - to start, download Folding @ Home, pick a name, and enter 36837 for your team number. For further rules and regulations, check back at a later time. Some of theses contests will be announced on the front page - others may not. Again, these will be open to all F@H users folding for Team 36837 who are members of AMDZone.com's forum. Once you have started folding, stop by and let us know. Good luck! This is just a heads up to get started; an official announcement will be made in the near future.

AMD 780G & Athlon X2 4850e Review PDF Print E-mail

This is something you'll definitely want to read, I've posted up my review of AMD's 780G chipset and new Athlon X2 4850e processor. More time is given to the 780G but we went through a number of integrated graphic setups and also variances of the 780G through games such as Crysis, World of Warcraft, Battlefield 2, Quake Wars, Unreal Tournament 3, and Counter Strike: Source, hitting the mainstream and the hardcore games. Check it out, it is an amazing integrated graphics performer with a few tricks up it's sleeve. I've read a number of reviews and our testing uses more games, resolutions, and setups than any other review I've seen out there so far.
