Cray to Offer Intel Systems

Supercomputer manufacturer Cray has decided to add Intel as a backup supplier in addition to their current relationship with the likes of AMD. Cray will begin using certain Intel Xeon processors in 2010. Cray representatives claim that this is not a reaction to AMD's handling of Barcelona, and it is yet to be seen how this deal will affect Advanced Micro Devices.
