No, not the kind of vacation Nvidia chipsets are taking. These are just travel destinations people in Canada like to go to or dream about. Fudo reports on them for some upcoming mobile GPUs.

AMD has three codenames reserved for mobile chips and this time it named them after islands. The first one, probably the high end, is Cozumel, followed by mainstream Ibiza and last one in line Kauai.

Fudo discusses AMD's upcoming Hecatoncheires GPU family codenames. No Congo's here. I'm sure someone playing Lineage II in Greece will complain though.

AMD's upcoming Hecatoncheires graphics architecture, the one that will eventually become Evergreen's successor, introduces three new subcategory codenames under its family name. Due to the original nature of AMD's latest marketing decisions, we are again talking about Greek codenames, so the pronunciation may be difficult for some. If you're up to the task, the family consists of Briareos, Gyes and Kottos.

Tech Report has tested out 3DMark on Intel's integrated solution and found that the CPU is doing much of the work for them in graphics tests. This is against Futuremark's driver optimization rules for the benchmark.

Violating Futuremark's driver optimization guidelines is one thing, but Intel also claims it's offloading vertex processing to enhance performance in games. Indeed, the very same INF file that singles out 3DMarkVantage.exe also names other executables. br>
