Fudzilla says that Radeon HD 5700 specs have been revealed.

Some early reports indicated that both the HD 5750 and the HD 5770 featured an identical memory clock, and as we suspected, they were wrong. The memory on HD 5750 cards is clocked at 1150MHz, and on HD 5770 cards it's 50MHz faster. Not really a major difference, but still worth noting. The HD 5750 will also be offered in 512MB version, but it seems the launch version will all feature 1024MB of GDDR5 memory.

Fudo reports that hundreds of thousands of Radeon HD 5870s have been sold. Supply will still be tight, and it appears AMD had not ordered enough wafers yet.

More importantly, the HD 5870 was available in hundreds of thousands a week after launch, but due to high demand and the fact that Dell got a better piece of the shipment, there were still some shortages. Naturally North America got more cards than Europe and it doesn’t look like that you will see many cards available anytime soon.

Fudo reports that the availability of Radeon HD 5870 and Radeon HD 5850 is still tight.

AMD's recently introduced Radeon HD 5870 is readily available in most European markets. After a somewhat bumpy launch, distributors are starting to get new shipments and they are finally coping with demand. Speaking of demand, there seems to be plenty of early DirectX11 adopters to go around. Prices range for the HD 5870 range from just under €300 in Blighty to €315 or €330 on the mainland, depending on the region.

The Inquirer reports that someone has writted a utility to allow under Windows 7 for a Radeon to be the primary GPU, and the Nvidia cards can't handle PhysX functions. It does not however work with a PhysX PPU card.

That appears to be what a hacker who goes by the handle of GenL has done. He has written an experimental beta patch that intercepts Nvidia's disable-PhysX-if-Radeon-is-present code.
