Conclusion:
Again it is somewhat hard to get a picture of the Crosshair II Formula
unfortunately due to our issues with one of the biggest features, Hybrid SLI.
We'll keep working on that this week and go in-depth on that when we're able
to. For now looking at the Crosshair II Formula on it's own Asus have done
another bang up job and the 780a appears to be a worthy successor to the
590SLI. It isn't radically different, except of course the Hybrid SLI which
we were unable to delve into, but is probably with Asus help one of the most
solid foundations out there for those looking for a great Socket AM2+ board.
AMD is moving towards much better performance with their Phenoms so
hopefully we'll see some interest still in high-end boards for enthusiasts
for AMD's platform. Score: 94%
