I've posted a comparison of the value lines from Corsair and OCZ with their $50 price range DDR400 Cas 2.5 512MB sticks. I had to do a budget system build and I thought that might make for an interesting article. I do some memory benching at default speeds, and then overclock them to see what $50 can get you. Enjoy!

Xtremeresources has a guide on tuning your memory with the Athlon 64 and in this case the DFI nForce 4 boards.

As the Venice and San Diego 90nm cores are now fully available, these controllers are quiet different to the Newcastle/Clawhammer o­n-die memory controllers. There are changes in the bandwidth, the new cores especially the San Diego has a lower bandwidth then the older cores. Why this is the case is still unknown, soon some clear information will be released. The latency is still the same though compared with the older cores.
