Our friends from Turkey, DonanimHaber have outed some Zambezi numbers for the FX-8130P (3.2GHz) and it looks as though AMD named the chips correctly as they are showing higher preliminary numbers than SandyBridge(Core i2XXX).
First Pass Second Pass
Zambezi - 136fps Zambezi - 45fps
Core i7 2600K - 100fps Core i7 2600K - 36fps
The tests show that Zambezi at 3.2Ghz is around 50% faster than the 3.4GHz Thuban 1100T, which fits AMDs initial estimates. In other tests Zambezi only comes in second to 990X which in reality uses twelve threads to Zambezi's eight. Many Intel stalwarts now believe that it's unfair to compare 2600K to Zambezi because Intel uses HT threads rather than real cores but Windows Task manager displays eight threads for both processors so the "comparison" is indeed valid.
