Nvidia Answers AMD's Catalyst 12.11 Drivers With 310.54 Beta Release

Nvidia has released 310.54 beta drivers to answer AMD's Catalyst 12.11 beta release.  Black Ops II, Battlefield 3, and Assassin's Creed IIII seems to be the focus.

Today’s driver also adds a new and improved version of TXAA anti-aliasing to Call of Duty: Black Ops II and Assassin’s Creed III, allowing GTX 600 Series users to maximize image quality and eliminate unsightly temporal aliasing in two of the year’s most popular games. Furthermore, there’s a handy new Sparse Grid Supersampling feature for all GeForce GTX users that improves image quality when using the advanced anti-aliasing technique, and for SLI users there are new Hawken, Hitman: Absolution, Natural Selection 2 and Primal Carnage profiles.

AMD Catalyst 12.11 Beta4 Fixes MOH CrossFire Issue

AMD's Andrew Dodd sent us details just now about a new Catalyst 12.11 Beta4 drive to fix some issues with Medal of Honor Warfighter.

It came to our attention yesterday that there was an application crash observed with the AMD Catalyst 12.11 Beta3 driver and Medal of Honor Warfighter; only when running in CrossFire configurations with Anti-Aliasing enabled as well.  The engineering team very quickly resolved the issue, and we have just made AMD Catalyst 12.11 Beta4 available to resolve the issue for CrossFire configurations.

The driver can be found at this link:  http://support.amd.com/us/kbarticles/Pages/AMDCatalyst1211betadriver.aspx   (we have simply removed the AMD Catalyst 12.11 Beta3 file, and replaced it with the AMD Catalyst 12.11 Beta4 file), as well as AMD GAME:  http://sites.amd.com/us/game/downloads/Pages/radeon_win7-64.aspx
