Nvidia and ATI have been firing back and forth lately as one tries to up the other in the graphics department. One of these changes was a version of the GeForce GTX 260 but with 216 stream processors instead of 192. Today we'll be looking at one of these cards overclocked from BFG.

The GeForce GTX 260 216 is built on a 55nm manufacturing process which should lower power consumption and also power draw from the previous GTX 260 graphics cards. As mentioned and visible from the art on the fan, this BFG card is overclocked to 590MHz core speed and 1296MHz for the memory.

The card features a large heatsink covering the entire card with Nvidia's new bent in heatsink and fan combination towards the end in theory for better airflow. The design from BFG is pretty cool CGI character.

The bundle is fairly standard with a component cable, DVI-to-VGA adapter, DVI-to-HDMI adapter, molex-to-PCI-E power adapter, and a key is included for 3DMark Vantage though you do have to download it as the disc isn't included.
