Howdy Campers, it;s that time of the week. Time for the Review Roundup. In honor of the news that AMD hardware may grace all three of the next gen consoles, we're going to start a new gaming section where we'll post news and reviews of the latest XBox, PS3 and Wii games and consoles. Today the particular card we're looking at is the ASUS HD 6970 DirectCU II one. I've quickly become a fan of the DirectCU II cooler for the simple fact it's proven to do an extremely good job when it comes to giving us low temperatures at low noise levels. The biggest gripe people have with the model is that it's of course a triple slot card.

Today Sapphire sent us their latest board, ready for the A75 FM1 market; the Sapphire Pure Platinum A75 featuring the latest AMD technology and features in a full-size ATX form factor board. With some unique features and fantastic styling, we'll see if this board can handle the tests we throw at it and also to see if it can hold the crown for Llano overclocking in the eTeknix labs.
