AMD System Review Day

Yes, it's that time again. We're having a look at the reviews around the web for your brand new AMD Fusion system. Let's get started shall we?

Corsair Hydro H80 - OverclockersClub

Massive heat sinks and fans can be used to effectively cool down the CPU. Case fans have stretched all the way up to 300mm in chassis that blow air well enough to keep the inside air the same as the outside ambient temperature. Liquid cooling systems can be had from mild (small, self-contained, modestly priced) to wild (full-on systems with separate radiators, pumps, and blocks for the CPU and GPU). Any which way you want to cut it, there is a solution for everyone, but the item that holds our interest for this brief moment is the self-contained liquid cooling solution. Asetek and Coolit were the early primary players in this field and offered up innovative solutions for cooling your processor and more. Both were not that well known to the average enthusiast.

Sapphire HD6950 2GB DiRT3 Toxic Edition - OverclockersClub

It's been quite a while since having my hands on a Sapphire card and I'm looking forward to seeing what it can do. Judging by the results from the stock version, I don't think that I'll be let down! In this review, we will take an up-close and personal look at Sapphire's HD6950 2GB DiRT3 Toxic Edition from unboxing, checking it out under the hood, and putting it through the gauntlet of the latest, most back-breaking games. We will also measure how efficient the card is, which includes recording power draw and temperatures. All the aforementioned testing will be performed in both stock and overclocked scenarios. More details and explanation will follow on each of the testing pages.

Thermaltake Commander MS-I case - VR-Zone

Thermaltake is probably the manufacturer with the largest selection of computer cases available at the time of this review. Not a week ago we reviewed the unique and pricey Level 10 GT case. Today we are going to examine a much different product, the Commander MS-I case. The Commander MS-I is the exact opposite of the Level 10 GT we have reviewed before; it is a very aggressively priced product aiming at the lowest segments of the market. We will find out what the Commander MS-I can do for gamers and enthusiasts on a budget in this review.

Patriot WildFire 120GB SSD  - Guru3D

Just over half a year after that SATA3 controller release we can already see a wide adoption rate that is really high. And that makes sense as the latest SATA 3 based storage units, in specifically SSDs, show breathtaking numbers.

Visiontek Ultimate Performance 8GB 1600mhz - KitGuru

This version of our script has been thoroughly tested on Adobe Photoshop CS5 and CS4 and is compatible with Photoshop 7. It is important to document however that different versions of Photoshop give different end results. Adobe have been fine tuning the program over the years and enhancing specific filters and algorithms for better performance (some filters were rewritten during the CS2 time period). This means ultimately that comparing times with users running other versions of Photoshop is not going to give consistent results.

Deus Ex: Human Revolution - KitGuru

Emma has scored Deus Ex: Human Revolution at 5 stars out of 5, claiming “It’s no surprise that Deus Ex: Revolution is a top quality game that will certainly be a serious contender for game of the year. It’s good to see that it’s maintained the standards set by the previous two games – which admittedly, set the bar quite high. It has everything a gamer could want – a fascinating back-story, realistic characters, great graphics and sound, adrenalin-pumping action alongside more slow-paced, thoughtful stealth options, side quests if you want them, a satisfyingly amount of hours in a playthrough and replayability. It’s hard to find anything but minor quibbles with it. Really the only bad thing about the game was that it had to end.”

AMD A8-3850 Overclocking - Legit Reviews

Since we want to see how well AMD A75 chipset powered motherboard overclock we got our hands on six additional AMD A8-3850 tray processors and now had a total of seven of them in our possession. Our point of doing this was to get the best one for our test system. After testing each processor we thought we'd share the results with you as this is a great example of what you can expect when you buy a processor.
