With that in mind, we're curious about AMD's latest driver optimizations. We also wonder if motherboard vendors have any graphics performance-optimizing tricks up their sleeves. So, rather than dropping some unrealistically-expensive discrete board into today's test beds, we're evaluating six Socket FM2-equipped platforms using an AMD A10-5800K operating all on its own.

Asrock has announced that they are supporting AMD's  Memory Profile Technology with their Fatal1ty 990FX Professional motherboard.  

As you can see from the fancy UEFI interface which comes with Mr. Wendel's face, when installing AMD's memory modules, the UEFI can load both AMD's AMP Profile and Intel's XMP Profile. The UEFI BIOS is the best and easiest way to overclock RAM. If you pair ASRock's 990FX Professional and AMP-capable memory modules, overclocking memory via AMP profile can become a near one-button process.
