Yes, that's good memory, but I think Corsair rates their CAS2 line for only CAS 2.5 in AMD-based systems. That's just something to keep in mind. Other than that, Corsair XMS is always on the top of my trusted memories list. In fact, I almost bought that stuff a couple days ago, but ended up going with some PC-4000 G.Skill instead.

Is there something out there cheaper that is as good. also Gottaloveamd not really sure what you mean about the CAS 2.5 and what that would mean for me?

Well, CAS refers to latency...lower being better. The best you're going to get is CAS 2 and the worst is CAS 3. The performance difference isn't too great, but CAS 2 RAM is preferable and generally higher quality. If I were you, I'd just go with that Corsair. The price is excellent for the quality.
