ecc reg works in most motherboards, but has no point basically because the platform isnt able to take advantage (correct me if wrong)

alot of motherboards arent able to take 4x1g, for that matter, neither can windows.

Looks like that version and any of the other flavors of that board only support 4gigs of ram (4x1gig sticks).

Most motherboards are compatible with ECC but NOT Registered. For AMD, Socket 940 uses registered, all other sockets use unregistered.
