I hope this is the right place to post.

I have been trying to contact Abit regarding a part I had ordered from there web page and never received. I tried calling several times and sent a couple of emails and never received a responce back from them. I'm curious is Abit still operating? This is very frustrating not getting any message back from them. I have a couple of computers I want to build and use Abit's motherboards, but if I can't get a responce back from them, I need to use a different manufacture.

Does anyone know if they are having trouble? Do I need to go a different mobo route?

I bought a chipset fan from Abit's web site. I used paypal and have contacted paypal to stop payment. I placed the order three weeks ago now, and after waiting two weeks with no fan or contact with Abit, I contacted paypal.

some of these boys order from other sites for chipset fans

What is interesting today that didn't show up last time, is there are now pictures giving detail of the part being purchased. When I ordered the parts no pictures were included. Don't know if that means anything other then I noticed the differece today.

Unfortunatly, reordering would not help. I have already ordered another heatsink and fixed the system. The problem I was reffering to here was I didn't get any responce back from Abit when contacting them. I do appreciate your help but I guess at this time I'll have to find a different motherboard manufacture. I don't care for customer service like that. It is a shame becuase I really liked Abit and have used several of there boards. I need to find a company that will respond back when contacted.

I bought the motherboard from Newegg and this was over a year ago. Also the reason I needed to replace the fan was it quit spinning due to being very dusty. I don't think warranty would cover it for both reasons.

The issue isn't about the motherboard at all. I'm disappointed in the fact Abit never got back to me regarding a part I ordered directly from there site. Truth be told I don't feel it is Abits fault the fan stopped spining. This was a very fine dust that cloged the fan and caused it to stop. It probably was like that for awhile and the fan burnt out. I also couldn't go back to Newegg at this point becuase it is over a year since I built the computer.

I was curious what is going on with Abit in not returning any kind of message be it phone or email. That to me is bad customer service. I have a small computer shop and my customers rely on me to get them answers to there problems. This particular customer is not very happy at this point due to the time frame. If it were a matter of a miss placed order and it needed to be re-oredered, then I would have done that. But since there was no communication with Abit, I had no idea of what was going on.

I've already replaced the part with something different. I just feel at this point if Abit can't return any kind of communications it is time to start using a different motherboard. Sad becuase I really liked them. They are a solid mobo. But you can have the best parts in the world and if your customer service is lacking, soon will the sales.

Abit does not have the concept of customer services. I too tried to contact them. Calling customer services, one is repeatedly told that the waiting time is 20mins, after 45 mins still no answer. Emails go to a black hole . Don't waste your time and money buying their products.

Abit has no products to buy.
Abit closed business at end of last year.
Abit cannot take your call.
