Advice: Go KV8 Pro???

Hey what do you fellas think about the kv8 pro?? What about a64 2800+??
How well do think this combo would oc?? (Assuming agp/pci lock gets fixed. Also assuming ram is a non issue)(I know :D)
MB: Gigabyte GA785GMT-UDH2
CPU: AMD Phenom II 955 BE @ 3820mhz
MEM: G. Skill DDR3-1600 2x2GB @ DDR3-1866
GFX: ATi Radeon HD 6850
OS: Gentoo Linux

I think many here will probably try to steer you towards either waiting for a 939-pin nForce3-250 setup or towards a 754-pin Asus or Chaintech nForce3 setup.

Abit has lost a few customers with their lack of nVidia nForce3 support.

It's a shame too, they made a DAMN GOOD nForce2 board!

If you want the AGP/PCI lock now, I believe AOpen has that in their nForce3-150 offering.

If you've got to have that setup you listed now, you could certainly do worse. I've heard some positive things said about the Via based KV8.

I'm personally waiting to see some more information roll out about the 35w mobile A64 2700+. :)

Well i got the setup listed above and the dang motherboard is doa. i cant get the primary ide to detect anything. tried two harddrives two optical drives and a zip drive. the secondary ide works perfect. wtf (edit: Well i just sent it back to newegg for an rma i hope they dont dilly dally around im really looking forward to playing around with 64 bit long mode)
