KT7-RAID won't see USB?!?

Okay- I had the system working fine with my HD on the regular ATA66 slo- all external peripherals were found. However my optical drives were not recognized when sitting on the PC100 (Highpoint controller) slots (each set to master). The Highpoint BIOS simply didn't see them.

So I switched them- HDs to the Highpoint ATA100 and the opticals on the ATA66. Now my USB ports don't work. This is killing me.

Any ideas- for now I'm just going to move back, but I really want to have the HD on the Highpoint controller so I can mirror the HD.
