This question was probably meant for me cause I,ve had both boards. I'm currently using the NF8
KV8-Pro: version 1.0 board was completely unstable. PCI locks didnt work. ACPI was buggy. Temps were reported wrong. CMOS for some reaon wouldn't hold data for more than a few days. Over all a very bad experiance.
NF8: version 1.0 board is semi stable. PCI locks work perfect. ACPI is kind of buggy, but I think that can be fixed with a new bios. Temps are reported wrong. Again can be fixed with a new bios. CMOS --does-- hold data properly despite reports from other people to the contrary..
Summary: KV8-Pro was not stable no matter what I tried. Nothing seemed to help. NF8 After disabling ACPI in the Operating System (using linux) It is completely stable. Altho I still don't have any way of knowing what the actual temps are.
