CrossHair SATA Connectors

Postby kolotyluk » Wed Aug 16, 2006 1:19 am

I just read the review on the new ASUS CrossHair motherboard. It looks very similar to the M2N32-SLI Deluxe.

I read a review which claimed that on the M2N32-SLI that if you used full length PCI Graphics cards, 2 of the 6 SATA connectors were not accessible.

Does this same problem exist on the CrossHair?

Too bad the CrossHair doesn't doesn't have built-in 802.11. It would have been especially nice if it had built-in 802.11/n

Yes, the review I was talking about was from Chris. The placement looks a little better, but I couldn't really tell from the pictures. Probably the best way to tell is to actually put a full length PCI-E card in the second 16 lane slot and see for yourself.
