M2A-VM HDMI VGA problem

Installed some new mainboards at custommers but 1 has 5 horizontal thin white lines on the screen. Installing an Ati 1550 VGA card separately cured the problem. Custommer is using Vista Ultimate with catalyst 7.6 drivers.
Did not notice this on other XP machines.
Anyone??

BTW what a rock solid board this is............simply amazing.
Better than my Nvidia and Intel boards.

found it. It was getting too hot inside the housing. C&Q does not seem to work in Vista on this pc. But thats another topic.

it was a memory problem. Not the heat. I had 4 pieces(1Gb) of Crucial Ballistic PC5300 3-4-4-12 ram in it. After chanching it for Kingston PC6400 5-5-5-5-15 ram and 2 sticks it is totally gone.
BTW: C&Q does work in Vista, it was a wrong energy setting.

Will the the nvidia 9600gt work properly using a dvi to vga adapter? My monitor only supports a vga connector, not dvi. The 9600gt only has a dvi connection, so if use a dvi to vga adapter to connect my monitor, will i get a good and stable image on the screen? Also, will i lose any picture quality?

There shouldn't be any problem.
