Need Help! Shuttle SK83G

Hello Guys,

I recently acquired the above system. For starters it needs a new power supply, any ideas where I can get the best one for this machine at the best price? I am willing to do a little modification to the back chasis but dont want to get much more into it then that.

But more importantly for the interim I am running it off a desktop 350 watt supply. Below is a list of what i have currently installed:

AMD 3200 +
Radeon 9600
Western Digital 300g IDE
netgear 311 g
512 meg patriot DDR 3200

Now for the issue:

I go to install windows xp and get to the first reboot of the install of XP. Upong restart i get the error message ?Error loading OS? or something of that nature. I currently have the SATA disabled in bios so sata drivers should not be an issue. Also, another small annoyance is that whenever I try to disable the quick boot feature the system just hangs at the Shuttle logo.

Any one have any ideas?

try diconnecting the sata drive completely from the system

take out the netgear , just try a striped down system to see what happens

if that doesn't work try running memtest86 on the memory
