I was drooling until I saw the "On-board Sli3114 SATA RAID Controller" in the specs. werent all the nf3 250 boards were going to have native Serial ATA built right into the chipset...or was that only going to be nf2 motherboards with the new MCP-S?

SSmokEE - Chaintech always seems to pull stupid things like not using highly demanded chipset features and use inferior external solutions. I don't get it...

Well, that might have been stupid, BUT they now have the best onboard sound/mobo chipset combination available for the A64. Via?s Envy 24PT 7.1, from what I hear (no pun intended) is pretty damn good compared to the non-soundstorm nForce3 sound...

It's also the chipset used on the M-Audio Revolution 7.1.

This would be the board I'd choose...

Hmm... I think I got ahead of myself. The board mentioned in the title, according to NewEgg doesn't have the Envy sound chipset. Looks like C-Media 5.1.

The link busterb has shows a 7.1. I wonder what it really has...

NewEgg HAD this board for $99 - $20 MIR = $79. Believe me, I was thinking about how I might not eat for a little while and buy this board... Now I don't see the rebate...

Anyone have any idea if it has a locked PCI/AGP bus and is a decent overclocker? Is there any more information out there on this board?

Looks like the GB Pro, different nic, 7.1 audio, and onboard 1394 is worth nearly twice the price.....

ZipZoomFly is selling the ZNF3-250GB for $169.00 and free UPS 2-Day shipping. I like NewEgg, but that's a big enough difference for me to go to ZZF for this one....

When I receive the board, I'll be doing some benchmark comparisons against the Gigabyte GA-K8NNXP nForce3 150 (which to date has been absolutely rock solid) I am currently running. Any bets on which will be available for sale afterwards?

Hi,

I can't find anymore my CD with the MB drivers in it.
The Chaintech I knew is long gone nad the new WaltonChaintech doesn't seems to care about it's legacy : drivers are not available on their download site.

Can anybody tell me where I can find trusty drivers ?

Regards.

Thank you. :D
It is not clear enough if it will managed my built-in Ethernet port and my audio built-in devices too.
In my memories, i had to install several drivers in order to have a fully operationnal MB.

You will need to find out what audio and ethernet chips you have on the motherboard and go to those chip makers to get their drivers for those devices.

It looks like the audio maybe VIA so here's a link to ther driver page http://www.via.com.tw/en/support/drivers.jsp

The ethernet looks to be Broadcom and here's a link to theres http://www.broadcom.com/support/ethernet_nic/downloaddrivers.php
